Turkish Red Crescent SAP S/4HANA Success Story
- Could you please tell us about Turkish Red Crescent in detail?
Turkish Red Crescent, founded in 1868, is one of the world's largest humanitarian aid organizations and a 151-year-old pillar of charity. Kızılay’s main reasons for being are empowering the community and people, and relieving the human suffering caused by disasters and poverty.
- What are the most crucial factors in which you decided to use SAP? What were the benefits of using SAP?
At Türk Kızılay, our key objective is to increase our revenues from donations and income generating activities in order to reach more people. We needed a reliable, transparent, trackable and accountable donation and distribution infrastructure to ensure this.
In order for Türk Kızılay, which grows year by year, to achieve these goals, we decided to implement SAP S/4HANA as the right solution for the digital transformation of our business processes.
This digital transformation project that we called Kızılay Pusula and implemented with a partner currently has approximately 5,800 users.
By implementing this project, the data of 12 million donors have been processed into the system.We are now able to monitor all activities and transactions on the system instantly without the need for any manual action.
Project goals included using the self-service functions by all employees, ensuring the transparency and traceability of product movements and donations, and helping establish donor – receiver relationship.
By implementing this project, we achieved all of our goals.
